Today, Ron is the founder and CEO of LeanOnWe, a company that helps families find better, more affordable home care. He also serves as an advocate for others with spinal cord injuries and competes in hand cycling and para-rowing, always pushing himself, now with new wheels and a different kind of fire.

Ron Gold is an entrepreneur, healthcare advocate, speaker, writer, athlete and creator of The New Gold Standard – a framework for turning life’s toughest setbacks into powerful new opportunities.
In 2011, Ron Gold was living the life he always envisioned. He had a successful Wall Street career, a loving family, and a passion for pushing his limits as an elite athlete. In a single instant, a cycling accident left him paralyzed, ended his career, and robbed him of his independence. He went from providing for his family to depending on them for survival.
On the long and grueling road back, Ron not only found the depths of his resilience, he learned to reimagine what’s possible and redefine success.
